In fact, there are approximately 280 shrines called "Hikawa Shrines" nationwide, and Hikawa Shrine in Kawagoe is the head office for the whole country. At Hikawa Shrine, which is famous for matchmaking, you can draw carp fortune slips, which is very popular when sightseeing! In the summer, an elegant tunnel of wind chimes forms, so we recommend taking photos in yukata.

Exit through the east exit and turn left along the road. Go along the road next to Ito-Yokado and turn right at the end. Proceed along Claire Mall Street, and you will find us on the third floor of the building that says "WASHIN MEGANE" on the first floor. About a 3 minute walk from the exit.


From JR, Tobu Tojo Line "Kawagoe Station"

Exit through the east exit and follow the road diagonally to the left, then take the passage next to Atre. Go down the stairs and cross the pedestrian crossing towards Clare Mall Street. Proceed along Clare Mall Street and on your right hand side you will find a building that says "WASHIN MEGANE" on the first floor. We are located on the 3rd floor of that building. About a 11 minute walk from the exit.

Taxi Directions:

Tell the driver to take you to Honkawagoe Station. Head toward Ito-Yokado, follow the road, and turn right at the end. Proceed along Claire Mall Street, and you will see a building that says "WASHIN MEGANE" on the first floor. We are located on the third floor of that building.
