Voice of Store Staff

Q.What kind of customers do you have?

Kanazawa Kourinbou Store Staff

Mainly tourists from Japan and abroad. Students often come here on vacation, and March is especially busy for graduation trips. It has good access to major sightseeing spots, so not only are there people staying at nearby hotels, but there are also many people who come by bus from Kanazawa Station, change into a kimono at the store, and head to sightseeing spots empty-handed. In addition to the cityscape where you can see people wearing kimono, there is also plenty of food to enjoy, such as seafood, Japanese sweets, and sweets, so people enjoy eating them while walking.

Q.What are you doing renting a kimono?

Kanazawa Kourinbou Store Staff

Kenrokuen, Kanazawa Castle, and the ruins of samurai residences are all within walking distance, so many people head there. Higashi Chaya District is also a popular spot for kimono walking. Also, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art is also a popular photo spot, especially among students.

Q.What kind of kimono is popular?

Kanazawa Kourinbou Store Staff

Many people choose the retro-modern Homongi plan after seeing it on Instagram, but the Taisho Roman kimono plan with a hakama is especially popular among student customers, and especially during the graduation travel season, everyone can choose the Taisho Roman Kimono plan. It is worn.

Q.Visit - Experience - Return flow

Kanazawa Kourinbou Store Staff

Many people make reservations in advance to match their travel plans. You will usually finish dressing up by morning or noon, visit sightseeing spots such as Kenrokuen Garden, and return in the evening.

Q.Kanazawa Kourinbou Store’s appeal points

Kanazawa Kourinbou Store Staff

Kanazawa has a lot of rain and snow, so we have prepared coordination for rainy weather. Since it's a special trip, all the staff are working hard to make sure you can enjoy it even in the rain. The attraction is that you can easily go to any sightseeing spot on foot or by bus, and it's located in an easy-to-understand commercial facility called Tokyu Korinbo Square, so it's hard to get lost even if you're visiting for the first time.
