At Kimono Rental Wargo, reservations and cancellations can be done online. Cancellations are free up to two days prior, so feel free to make a reservation. No need to contact the store for cancellations—they’re processed online.

Couple Standard Plan
I wanted to wear a kimono while sightseeing in Kyoto, so I rented one here. I went sightseeing from Noto as a change of pace!
Although I wanted to experience a tea ceremony, we made wagashi sweets instead due to a mix-up. We also enjoyed the Kyoto Tower and took in the sights around Kyoto.
I wasn’t sure how to coordinate the kimono, but they kindly guided me through it. It was a big help.

I had plans to watch Kabuki at Minami-za Theater, so I decided to wear a kimono for the occasion. Since I’m a fan of Kanzashi Wargo hairpins, I chose their shop nearby.
Visited Yasaka Shrine and Minami-za Theater. The rabbit statue at Inaba was adorable.
I quickly chose a yukata in my favorite color, but when I couldn’t decide on the obi, the staff suggested a summer obi that matched the kimono perfectly. I ended up with a beautiful coordination I wouldn’t have thought of myself and was extremely satisfied.

Kiyomizu-dera is one of Kyoto's most famous tourist attractions and is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site! The view from the main hall, known as the "Stage of Kiyomizu," is breathtaking, offering stunning photo opportunities with beautiful scenery that changes with each season. Another must-visit spot when you go to Kiyomizu-dera is the Otowa Waterfall! The waterfall is divided into three streams, each believed to grant a different blessing: long life, success in love, and academic achievement. These blessings make the waterfall very popular with visitors. Around the temple, you'll also find historic shopping streets like Ichinen-zaka and Sannen-zaka, lined with traditional Kyoto souvenir shops. Be sure to stop by while you're exploring the area!
Kinkaku-ji (Rokuon-ji) is one of Kyoto’s most iconic landmarks, originally built by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu as a villa, later turned into a temple. The current structure was rebuilt in 1955, and its most striking feature is its beautiful, three-story design completely covered in gold leaf. One sight you absolutely can’t miss when visiting Kinkaku-ji is the reflection of the pavilion in the garden’s pond, known as the "water mirror." The image of the golden pavilion shimmering on the water is simply magical. As you stroll through the garden, take time to soak in the serene beauty of both the historical architecture and the surrounding nature. It's a truly peaceful experience!
Fushimi Inari Taisha, located in Fushimi Ward of Kyoto, is the head shrine of all Inari shrines across the country. It is known for being a place where people pray for prosperous business and bountiful harvests. The shrine's most distinctive feature is the "Senbon Torii," which consists of around 10,000 vibrant red torii gates, each inscribed with the names and wishes of their donors! As you stroll through the gates, it's recommended to take your time and enjoy the scenery. There's also a hiking trail leading to the summit of Inari Mountain, so feel free to challenge yourself! Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Kyoto city and the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are many shops around Fushimi Inari Taisha where you can enjoy delicious "Inari sushi" and "inari-zushi."
