The Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival, a summer tradition of Kanazawa, will be held for three days from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, 2025!
The Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival is a grand event rich in history and tradition, held to commemorate the entry of Lord Maeda Toshiie, the first lord of the Kaga Domain, into Kanazawa Castle!
Of particular note is the main event, the "Hyakumangoku Parade," held on Saturday, June 7! ✨
Many people visit this gorgeous and spectacular parade, which marches from Kanazawa Station to Kanazawa Castle every year.
In 2025, Yoshizumi Ishihara will appear as Lord Maeda Toshiie, and Kie Kitano will appear as Omatsu-no-kata!
In the evening, there will also be many fantastic events such as the "Hyakumangoku Odori Nagashi" (parade dance), "Kenrokuen Garden Illumination," and "Hyakumangoku Takigi Noh" (bonfire Noh).
