Sanja Matsuri Pre-Event Information

Crowd Status: Over 1.9 million visitors are expected over the three days of the Sanja Matsuri, so crowds are anticipated. Please allow ample time for meeting up and for yukata rental.

Traffic Regulations: During the festival period, traffic regulations will be in effect around the venue, so using public transportation is recommended.

Crowd Start Time: Crowds are expected to start around 5:00 PM, so it's recommended to prepare early and arrive in advance.

Traffic Regulation Time: From approximately 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the Senju-Shinbashi entrances/exits of the Shuto Expressway Central Circular Route (inner and outer loops) will be closed, and general roads around the venue will also be closed to traffic. Please be aware when planning your visit.
